Upcoming markets, fairs and other events
I’m very happy to announce that I will be exhibiting at this year’s Art Fair Cheshire, a biennial art fair which showcases work by over 100 local and regional artists. Each exhibiting artist donates a percentage from the sale of their work to East Cheshire Hospice which supports adults facing life limiting illness.
Learn how to design and carve using Lino, experiment with colour and inking and leave with a series of your prints. This one day course includes all equipment and is suitable for beginners or those with basic knowledge. There is limited availability, please contact the Creative Recycling Gallery on 0161 881 4422 to book. (I will also be running a set of Lino print sessions on Thursday evenings in late Autumn at the Gallery, please ask at the counter for details.)
I shall be here again at what must surely be the most festive Christmas event in the North! My market chalet will be decorated to tie in with this year’s theme in the house, can you guess what it will be? The market is free to enter, car parking charges apply.
A delightful monthly market held on the cobbles every last Sunday of the month. In August, the market will have a special seaside theme so keep a look out for Punch and Judy and enjoy browsing the many decorated stalls! I am there under a gazebo near to the town hall, do come and say hello.
The first Wild Art Fair is a special event organised by myself and two wildlife crazy friends at The Parsonage in Didsbury village, Manchester. We have invited over 20 artist makers to join us and there will be a pop up tea room, plant sale, a beekeeper and two visiting rescue owls to meet! It’s a charity event with money going to The Parsonage Trust and Lower Moss Wood Wildlife Hospital. Entry is £1 for adults, under 16s are free. I do hope you will be able to come along, it’s going to be TOTALLY WILD!!
A delightful monthly market held on the cobbles every last Sunday of the month. This month, the Green Man will be joining us and handing out seed bombs to green up the land! I will be there under a greened-up gazebo near to the town hall, do come and say Hi!
